About John Brocklehurst
John Brocklehurst has spent over 28 years doing what he genuinely loves, bringing stories to life. Across more than 5,000 projects in television, film and commercial production, he's had the privilege of working alongside some truly remarkable people, from leading brands and broadcasters to agencies all over the world.
What drives John isn't the scale of it all, it's the work itself. He approaches every production with a grounded, problem-solving mindset, because at the end of the day, you're only as good as the team around you and the story you're trying to tell. He's been fortunate to build lasting relationships with incredible filmmakers over the years, including Hollywood director Paul W.S. Anderson, and that kind of trust between collaborators, that's something you don't take for granted.
On the television and film side, John has had the honour of working closely with industry figures like Rod Brown, and together they've been part of some genuinely special projects, BAFTA award-winning productions including Hogfather, Colour of Magic, and Going Postal for Sky TV, Robbo: The Bryan Robson Story for Amazon Prime, The Show Must Go On for Channel 5, and A Year in the Life of Michael Owen for Sky TV. To be connected to work like that... it means a lot.
From live events to broadcast to premium storytelling, John just tries to show up, do the work right, and make something worth watching. That spirit carries through to everything he touches, including An Evening with Sir David Jason, a project, like all the others, rooted in a deep respect for the craft and the people behind it.
